Pupil's room with mini-office and built-in storage systems

It is not always easy to please a teenager, but Alexei Dyakin and Kirill Romanyuk succeeded - they created a comfortable and functional interior for a senior student who shoots video reports, documentaries and plays the guitar. A spacious working area for two monitors and a large number of storage places are one of the wishes of the customer.

The designers relied on the original zoning: the area of the room allowed it to be done. “We made the vintage partition from a metal profile. Its silhouette resembles the shape of the lens diaphragm, and from the point of view of functionality, it transmits light perfectly ”, - say Alexey and Kirill.

There is enough storage space, as the owner of the room wanted: the shelves at the desktop are perfect for books and papers. The storage system along the far wall has two depths: narrow cabinets for small items, wide ones for clothes. So that they do not seem bulky, small mirrors were added to the doors.

For finishing, we chose materials that are easy to clean, but not the simplest ones. The walls were covered with matte paint, and the work area was fully clad in wood paneling - including the ceiling. There is parquet on the floor, but with a secret: boards of different widths were used in the layout.

Natural colors of oak veneer, matt black of radiators and window frames, gray paint - together they create a working, masculine atmosphere. The atmosphere is softened by translucent lamps, soft upholstery of the sofa and a pleasant to the touch carpet. The finishing touch is an unusual photo and video installation on the wall, which gives dynamics and character to the interior.
