Home to the world‐renowned Paris Opera, the Palais Garnier is a stunningly ornate theater completed in 1875 and named after its architect Charles Garnier. The eclectic decorative style typical for late 19th‐century French architecture features an elaborate facade with sculptures and gilt elements.

The theater seats over 1,900 people and the stage is one of the largest in Europe, hosting 450 artists. With crystal chandeliers, velvet, marble, and gilt surfaces, Palais Garnier offers a sumptuous atmosphere to experience opera and ballet productions of the Opéra de Paris.
