8 Ideas to decorate small bedrooms
The truth is that decorating small spaces, whether they are bedrooms, or any other room in the house , is a challenge. On the one hand, we want them to be beautiful (aesthetics is always a point to take into account) and, on the other, it is necessary that they remain functional. It is clear that a house that only attends to one of those two points will almost certainly not be a place to live that we love, right?
So, today the challenge is to give you ideas for when we have few square metersand the task is that we have spaces to dream. Unite the practical with the beautiful, and create functional rooms that do not look "overwhelmed" and that serve us to meet our needs. Today it's time to update ideas for those bedrooms that are being built smaller and smaller every day (although our needs to store clothes, shoes and junk are the same or greater). Shall we start?
Hidden cabinets
More than built-in wardrobes, well hidden. Painted in the same tone as the rest of the walls in the room. No handles, no decorations, no special elements. Smooth doors that fill in with the rest of the room so as not to visually burden a small space.
Mirrors of different sizes
There are never enough mirrors in a small space. As a bedside table, we can use a floor mirror that visually expands the space (as in the image), or perhaps make compositions of mirrors on the headboard, use a large one on a piece of furniture, or use a dressing mirror. Everyone is welcome.
Saving under the bed
When there are not enough meters, you have to be creative and find solutions to save. The space of the bed is perfect to store those things that we do not use with the change of season. Folding couches, customized solutions, even the pallets in the image (very low cost), are ideas that will come in handy.
Storing vertically
The shelves on the head of the bed (or as a headboard, which I almost like better) are one of those ideas with a low price and guaranteed result. In them we can put books, objects that we need to have on hand (notepads, reading glasses, boxes with creams ...) or even a flexo-type clamp that provides an extra point of light.
More shelves, but on the side
I don't know about you, but every day I am more in love with sloping ceilings. It is true that the useful meters of a bedroom are eaten, however, if we put the headboard in the part with less height and make a good distribution, the result is bright rooms with enough space.
The donkies
Donkeys are called these inventions so great that they let us carry them (hence the name) with all our clothes, they are beautiful, and they are also much lighter visually than a conventional wardrobe. Perfect for guest rooms. In Ikea there are several models at a good price.
Find the best distribution
Sometimes the best distribution is not the most typical. Who says we should put the headboard of the bed against the back wall? Well, nobody. In today's decor, there are no written standards.
Anything goes, above all, that which allows us to gain extra meters and space. In studios and houses of a few meters, it is necessary to look for different solutions to gain amplitude.
